Discipleship Pathway
Helping people grow as disciples through clear steps, personal guidance, and a community in which to grow
We believe that spiritual growth is a journey, and every journey needs a map.
Our Conviction
Disciples grow best with clear direction, meaningful support, and deep community—and that’s what we’re committed to providing.
But, What is Discipleship?
Discipleship means learning to live like Jesus, by growing in love, trust, and obedience to God, in real relationship with others, and in everyday influence where we live and work. At Southside, we believe discipleship is not one-size-fits-all. It’s a journey. And you’re invited.
Core Elements of the Pathway
Every journey begins with awareness. Our Faith Stage Assessment helps you identify your current stage of faith, allowing you to grow with clarity and focus.
A coach helps you process your stage and take meaningful next steps. Whether you’re just getting started or hitting a dry season, you don’t have to walk alone.
Spiritual growth happens in community. That’s why our goal is for every adult to find a lasting connection in a group so that you have a place to be known, supported, and challenged in your faith.
Our spiritual growth accelerates when we use our gifts to serve others. Our Serving Teams provide opportunities to discover your unique calling while making a tangible difference in our church and community.

Multiplying as a Leader
Every disciple makes more disciples
As we grow, we are all called to invest in the mission God gave His church: to make disciples. Additionally, many are also called to take a step of leadership. Our Leadership Development Groups are the primary means by which we equip spiritually mature, mission-minded leaders.
