A catechism is a guide for your spiritual journey, a kind of roadmap that helps you explore and internalize the foundational truths of our faith. Rather than a ritual, it’s a practical and straightforward way to build a strong foundation, offering clarity and confidence as you grow. Through every season of life, these core beliefs can help you walk more deeply with Jesus.

Q1. Who is God?
Answer: God is the eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present Creator of all things, perfectly holy and full of love and truth-existing as one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Q2. What is the Trinity?
Answer: God is one in essence but exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-perfectly united in love, purpose, and glory.

Q3. How has God revealed Himself to us?
Answer: God reveals Himself through creation, Scripture, and ultimately through Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit illuminating our understanding.

Q4. What is the Bible?
Answer: The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God, true and trustworthy in all it affirms, given to teach us who God is and how to live.

Q5. Why is Scripture and important?

Q6. Who is Jesus?
Answer: Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully human, our Savior and Lord-the eternal Word who became flesh to save us.

Q7. Why did Jesus come to Earth?
Answer: To reveal God's love, live a sinless life, die as a substitute for our sins, rise again in victory over death, and inaugurate God's kingdom of redemption and restoration.

Q8. What is the gospel?
Answer: The gospel is the good news that through Jesus' death and resurrection, we can be forgiven, made new, and welcomed into God's family by grace through faith.

Q9. Why did Jesus die on the cross?
Answer: He died to pay the penalty for our sin so we could be made right with God-taking our punishment and giving us His righteousness.

Q10. What does it mean to be saved?
Answer: It means being forgiven of sin, made new by grace, adopted into God's family, and empowered to live for Him.

Q11. What happens when we believe in Jesus?
Answer: We are forgiven, given the Holy Spirit, made new creations, and begin a lifelong journey of following Him in community.

Q12. Why does God allow suffering?
Answer: Though we don't understand all His purposes, God is sovereign and good. He allows suffering in a fallen world, yet uses it to draw us to Himself, shape our character, and prepare us for glory-while promising to work all things for good.

Q13. What is obedience?
Answer: Obedience is doing what God says with a willing heart, out of love and trust, empowered by His Spirit.

Q14. Who is the Holy Spirit?
Answer: The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity—God’s personal presence in us—guiding, empowering, transforming us, and bearing witness that we are God's children.

Q19. What is the Church?
Answer: The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all who trust in Jesus, gathered for worship, community, discipleship, and mission to the world.

Q24. What do baptism and communion mean?

Q25. Who am I in Christ?

Q33. What is heaven?
Answer: Heaven is God's presence fully experienced—a place of eternal joy, peace, and perfect love where we worship Him and enjoy Him forever in resurrection bodies.
